Supporting David Sorrell

David began his path toward full-time missionary life in mid-September 2019. He is in the initial stages of trusting God to

  • publish his career change across his immediate circle of contacts and ultimately many others God will bring into his orbit,
  • financially nourish David’s ministry through a team of dedicated local Champions 1)A “Champion” is a person who believes in David’s call to ministry, commits to help shoulder the responsibility to “thrust a new laborer into the harvest”, and who assertively works to introduce and promote David’s ministry within his/her own church and personal network of other groups.,
  • assemble a team of prayer workers to undergird both David’s transition and ultimate ministry efforts.

David is currently working a secular “day job” while he volunteers with E360 when he can, but he is ready to leave that job behind and focus solely on E360 tasks as soon as his missionary support income can cover his minimal needs. In addition to regular monthly, quarterly or annual support gifts (to meet his salary needs as well regular costs for office space, internet access, supplies, equipment, etc), he will need some “one-time” gifts to cover the costs of necessary travel (airfare, lodging, car rental/use and fuel). Any amount or giving frequency (one-time, intermittent or regular) will be important and greatly appreciated by all the E360 staff who need David’s help (which would be…everybody!).

David’s role would initially be done from his current location in southeastern Missouri. Most E360 staff members are scattered around the USA at this early point in the life of the organization. Remote working is not only a perfectly valid mode of missionary laboring in today’s modern world, it can actually be more effective than sleeping at night in a single spot across an ocean from home. David’s ministry will ultimately be felt by thousands of people from all over the world, people he could not reach if he had to live in a single overseas spot or travel to reach all the spots he will impact. It might be advantageous at some point for David to “commute” for a time to Charlotte (NC) to improve his “fit” among his colleagues while he climbs the many learning curves ahead during his initial period of service.

David is available to speak to mission conferences, church or study groups, individuals, small home meetings, corporate lunch-break groups or any other venue you think God might use to help build David’s team. Please call (mobile 573-872-7553) or write him to find out how God could use you and yours, through David, to teach thousands of believers across the world to launch spiritual conversations and bring many people to Christ.

By clicking on the button below, your browser will open a new tab pointing to David’s page in the E360 giving portal website. There you can specify a gift of any size. That gift could also be the first of a continuing series of gifts automatically processed on any interval you wish (monthly, quarterly or annually). Gifts can be drawn from your credit card, saving account or checking account. For giving via credit card, you can even add the transaction fee to your gift so that 100% of your intended support reaches David. You will receive a tex-deductible receipt for each gift. Once you are set up during the first gift, you will be able to access the giving portal to see your giving history and discontinue or alter the terms of your giving at any time, under your own control.
